Leg Day - Exceeded Previous Highs & Goals




Really rocked it today by not only surpassing previous highs but also exceeding goals. This may be partially due to resting 2 out of the last 3 days. Whatever the reason, I am proud of myself and my progress.


Warm Up:


Leg Routine  - 1st set is low weight to warm up and focus on form. Sets 2 - 5 are for max weight for 5 reps each.



Notes / Results:

  • Weight:197.
  • Time: 55 minutes. No Tabata. From previous notes this workout takes longer. I don’t know why.
  • Dumbbell Step Up
    • Previous high: 45 Goal: 50
    • Sets: 45. 50, 50, 3@55, 3@55
  • Plate Loaded Calf Raise
    • Previous high: 250 Goal: 275
    • Sets: 210, 230, 250, 270, 290
  • Deadlift
    • Previous high: 235 Goal: 275
    • Sets: 225, 235, 240, 3@245
  • Barbell Squats
    • Previous high: 205 Goal: 225
    • Sets: 205, 215, 225, 230, 230
